Sticky Rice (2013-2016)

Sticky Rice (2013-2016) was developed during university as a collection of documentary photographs. The project depicts the artist interacting with the Australian national flag in different contexts across various images, such as scenes inspired by myths and day-to-day settings. On another level, the project raises questions about the ways we make meaning and perceive representation, such as the connection we make between people and physical objects.
